The Nature Embedded Mind: Book Study & ReRooting Practices

we believe the widespread belief that humans are separate from Nature causes us and our planet immeasurable suffering.

our mission is to help transform the foundation of health by restoring our relationship with our living world.

elemental was created as a space for remembering our inherent relationship with our living Earth.

Our work supports a growing shift toward ecological belonging - a way of seeing ourselves as participants in one living interconnected world.

We believe that healing begins when we embody belonging - to place, to community, and to the more-than-human beings with whom we share life.

This understanding sits at the heart of our programs, and our vision for the future of human potential.

Through education, practice, community, and immersive experiences, we help reawaken a felt sense of belonging in the web of life. Our Labos combine mindfulness, forest therapy, gentle movement, and sharing through reflective Wisdom Circles to guide individuals and communities back into relationship—with their bodies, each other, and our living Earth (check out our Upcoming Events page).

We love to collaborate on custom programming tailored to your needs; whether supporting your family & friends, clients, patients, or employees, we create the experience that’s best for you. Every Labo, Circle, and custom offering is rooted in our mission: to restore direct relationships with the rest of Nature as the foundation of personal and planetary healing.

From our co-founder Julie Brams

A call to reimagine the mind itself, this book reveals how reshaping the way we think—away from anthropocentrism and toward interconnection—can heal our relationship with our Earth and help restore the sanity of our species. It invites a return to the nature-embedded mind as both a personal and collective path of healing.

2026 Nautilus Gold Winner in the Rising to the Moment category - recognizing books that answer the ecological, social and spiritual urgency of this era.
