Our Deep Rest practice is an invitation to inhabit your body in a softer, quieter way than our modern pace allows.
Combining gentle somatic awareness, mindful movement, and Yoga Nidra, these seasonal gatherings offer space to release the pressure of constant doing and return to the support of the breath, the body and the earth that holds and supports us.
Yoga Nidra is sometimes referred to as “yogic sleep.” This process is a deep meditation where the body is meant to rest as though you’re asleep , while your brain stays aware. The practice is structured to bring brain into theta brainwaves where your subconscious beliefs are held and can be released along with physical tension.
Deep Rest is led by Julia and is open to all levels. It’s especially supportive for anyone feeling depleted, overstimulated,anxious, or in need of calmness.
