Witnessing Growth: Rooting Down and Reaching Out

Our most asked-about offering is back! Join us for a day of forest bathing and mindfulness in the foothills of the LA mountains (Beverly Hills). In true retreat form, we invite you to let go of clock time and technology to start to reconnect to the Nature around you.

At elemental, we believe the delusion that humans are separate from Nature brings us immeasurable suffering. The only path forward for us to heal ourselves and the planet, is by reconnecting to Nature through mindful practices. When we realize we are Earth, we can reestablish a relationship of reciprocity with the Earth.

The intention of this retreat is to invite you disconnect from our plugged-in digital world, and reconnect with yourself and Nature.

Julieann + Julia will guide you through a collborative practice that weaves together forest therapy, gentle movement, meditation, invitations, and wisdom circles. Some of the practice will be together as a group, and portions are encouraged to explore on your own (with instruction given).

We will gather outdoors in the canyons of Beverly Hills, you won't be far from the city, but you'll feel a world away. Please note: exact address given after registration, the one listed is simply an approximation; a private indoor bathroom is available.

Please know that this is, regrettably, not an ADA accessible event and will involve navigating inclined terrain (slowly and not for great distances). We recommend you wear layers, hiking boots/sturdy close-toed walking shoes, and be sure to wear/bring sunscreen and a hat. There are beautiful trees and plenty of shade, but the entire retreat is outdoors, as the invitation is to reconnect with Nature. Please wear clothing that you're not afraid to sit on the ground in. Also note, the driveway can get muddy in the event of rain, so please keep that in mind when deciding how to arrive (wifi is available for rideshare calling at the end of the event).
